Variations on a theme

Some more GWM early WW1 highlanders with Woodbine headswaps. Slight variations to painted details to do Government tartan and hose to represent the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.

The Command figures. Looks as if Lancer Officers wearing slings is all the rage these days! The jury is still out as to whether this regiment carried an Eagle or not and to what was actually flown on the cornet pole.

Gordons on Imperial Service 1.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, here are the six variants from the Great War Miniatures Highlanders pack (B105) with Woodbine headswaps and a khaki drill paint scheme to create some Gordon Highlanders on Imperial Service, somewhere hot and dusty, c1920.
